2016 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
A Blend of our Best Barrels
Robert Parker - 89 Points
Here is what they said about this wine:
The 2016 Pinot Noir is pale ruby-purple colored with a great intensity of uncomplicated kirsch and raspberry pie notes with a waft of rose hip tea. The palate is medium to full-bodied with plush tannins and tons of juicy red fruit in the mouth, finishing long and lively. 66 cases were made.
Montagne Russe’s first “blend”. This wine is a combination of all of our single vineyards and meant to
be the introduction pinot to those looking to “Russe” for the first time. Priced at an entry level, this pinot
offers hints of what’s to come with Montagne Russe’s single vineyard offerings. Light and expressive,
this wine embodies the delicate and complex philosophy of the winery.
