The vineyard is littered with ancient seashells, giving this Calera clone Pinot a unique complexity and intensity. This wine is quite the symphony… it’s hard to pick out the instrument that’s playing.
An intriguing nose of fennel and forest floor, rosewater and herbs, with copious pomegranate and ripe raspberry on the palate. Your entire mouth is woken up by this wine. Aged on the lees for 10 months in 40% new French Oak.
